“Lord, I want to feel Your heart / See the world through Your eyes / I want to be Your hands and feet / I want to live a life that leads…”
When Casting Crowns released Until the Whole World Hears, it wasn’t just another worship song—it was a call to arms. Inspired by a simple phrase in an email signature from Roger Glidewell, the title became a declaration for believers everywhere: we won’t stop until every ear has heard the name of Jesus. The song carries the urgency of John the Baptist crying out in the wilderness, the conviction of a heart that refuses to stay silent, and the longing to live a life that leads others to Christ.
For me, this anthem is more than lyrics—it’s the heartbeat behind everything I do. It’s the reason GoodChristianMusic.com exists. It’s behind every banner I design, every post I schedule, every message I send out into the world. I don’t want to hold the gospel like it’s mine to protect—I want to release it like a flood. I want my life to echo the sound of heaven, to be a vessel that carries light into places where darkness has lingered too long.
This ministry isn’t built on numbers or algorithms. It’s built on obedience. It’s about showing up, even when it’s quiet. It’s about being faithful in the small things, trusting that God multiplies what we surrender. It’s about being a voice in the wilderness, even when the world isn’t listening. Because someone out there is waiting. Someone out there needs to hear the name of Jesus spoken with love, with boldness, with truth.
“Until the whole world hears, Lord, we are calling out / Lifting up Your name for all to hear the sound…”
That’s the cry. That’s the mission. And it’s not just mine—it belongs to every believer who’s been changed by grace and refuses to keep it to themselves.
Romans 10:14 says, “How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard?” Matthew 5 reminds us, “You are the light of the world… let your light shine before others.” And Mark 16:15 gives the charge: “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.”
So I’ll keep singing. I’ll keep designing. I’ll keep posting and praying and pressing forward. Until the whole world hears.
