Sometimes God sends people into our lives who feel like family from the very first note. For many of us, Leanna Crawford has been that kind of steady presence — a voice that meets us where we are and lifts us gently toward hope. 

Raised in the small town of Stanwood, Washington, Leanna Crawford grew up in a faith‑filled home where music was both a passion and a calling. Home‑schooled by her mom alongside her siblings, she began writing songs as a teenager, often drawing from Scripture and her own walk with God. A mission trip in 2012 became the spark that confirmed her path into music ministry. After winning a regional music search with her song Moment by Moment, she moved to Nashville and became the first female artist signed to Matthew West’s Story House Collective. Since then, she’s toured with artists like Michael W. Smith, Jeremy Camp, and Tenth Avenue North, and released songs that have climbed the Billboard Christian Airplay charts — including Truth I’m Standing On, Mean Girls, and her 2024 album Still Waters, which won Breakout Single of the Year at the 2025 K‑Love Fan Awards.

When “Truth I’m Standing On” plays, it’s like Philippians 4:13 comes alive: “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.” Those lyrics remind us that even when the ground feels shaky, we can plant our feet on God’s promises and not be moved.

There are days when “Mean Girls” rolls through the speakers and feels like a conversation with a dear sister — one who won’t let you believe the lies about who you are. It echoes Psalm 139:14, “I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” For me, and for so many in this ministry family, it’s been the song that gently pulls our eyes back to the truth of our worth.

Then there’s “How Can You Not,” which captures the awe of God’s beauty in creation and His fingerprints in the details. It makes me think of Romans 1:20, reminding us that His invisible qualities are clearly seen in everything around us. It’s the perfect nudge to look up, breathe deep, and let gratitude have the last word.

In this space, our mission and hers run on the same rails — to point people toward Jesus, to remind weary hearts that hope is never out of reach, and to fill the air with music that speaks courage into the cracks.
