The Band JAREN is a story of two sisters who chose to step into the calling God placed on their lives, and in doing so, they’ve begun to carve out a unique space in Christian music. Growing up in church, they were surrounded by worship and truth, but it wasn’t until Jaren moved out on her own that she realized faith had to be personal. She said, “I get to choose if I want to follow Jesus,” and that choice became the foundation of their ministry. Together with Jade, and supported by an all-female band, they’ve been writing, recording, and touring since 2023, bringing bold worship anthems and heartfelt testimony to a generation that desperately needs role models who live for something greater than themselves. Their journey has already taken them across stages nationwide, and their reels and videos are reaching young people who might otherwise never hear a message of hope.
Their music is not just about melody; it’s about message. Songs like “Stand Strong” hit hard because they remind us that faith is not passive. It’s a fight. When I listen, I think of Ephesians 6:13: “Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground.” The song becomes a soundtrack for anyone facing pressure, doubt, or temptation, and it pushes me to remember that standing strong is possible when we’re clothed in His armor.
“Your Cross Is Everything” takes me to a different place. In a culture obsessed with self-image, this song centers me back on the only thing that matters. Galatians 2:20 says, “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.” That verse is alive in the song. It reminds me that my worth isn’t in what I look like or how many likes I get online, but in the sacrifice of Jesus. It’s a song that strips away the noise and leaves me with the truth that His cross defines me.
Their newest single, “Poetic,” feels softer but no less powerful. It speaks to the uncertainty of life, the questions about purpose and future that so many young people wrestle with. Jeremiah 29:11 declares, “For I know the plans I have for you… plans to give you hope and a future.” Listening to “Poetic” is like hearing that verse sung back to me. It’s a reminder that God’s plan is beautiful even when I can’t see it clearly, and that trusting Him is the only way forward.
And then there’s “War Cry,” which is perhaps their boldest anthem yet. It’s not just a song to sing along with — it’s a declaration. When I listen, I feel the urgency of spiritual warfare, the reminder that we’re not fighting alone, and the push to lift my voice in victory even when the struggle feels heavy. Scripture ties this perfectly to 2 Corinthians 10:4: “The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.” The song echoes that truth — our war cry isn’t about earthly strength, but about calling on the name of Jesus to break chains and tear down walls. For me, “War Cry” is relatable because it speaks to those moments when doubt, fear, or temptation try to creep in. It reminds me that worship itself is a weapon, and that declaring God’s truth out loud can shift the atmosphere.
The Band JAREN is more than music. They are a living testimony that choosing Jesus changes everything. For the younger generation obsessed with social media — scrolling TikTok or Snapchat, caught up in appearances or the opinions of others — these sisters stand as proof that true worth is found in Christ alone. Their songs call listeners to stand strong, to live defined by the cross, to trust the poetic plan of God, and to raise a war cry of faith.
In their music there is hope, there is knowledge, and there is a gentle push to take action — to live for Christ now, not later. Because our own plans will always fall short, but His will never fail.
