Micah Tyler ~ Nothing Too Broken ~ Breakthrough Anthem

There’s a lie that creeps in quietly, sometimes so subtly we don’t even notice it taking root—the belief that we’ve gone too far, messed up too much, or been shattered beyond repair for God to want us. Micah Tyler’s “Nothing Too Broken” dismantles that lie with every line, offering a voice of hope that speaks straight into the cracks of the human heart.

Part of his 2023 People Like Us EP, “Nothing Too Broken” was co‑written with Steve Fee and Colby Wedgeworth. Tyler has said this project was born from a desire to help people who feel divided, isolated, or unworthy find their way back to the truth of God’s grace. The song itself is written from the perspective of Jesus speaking to us—reminding us that He sees the pain, the fear, the tears, and yet His love remains unshaken. Lines like “There’s nothing my heart won’t heal and my love won’t redeem” aren’t just poetic—they’re promises rooted in the character of God.

Micah’s own journey hasn’t been a straight road. Before his music reached national audiences, he was a youth pastor, a delivery truck driver, and a man learning to trust God in the middle of uncertainty. That authenticity comes through in his voice—there’s no pretense, just a steady assurance that he’s singing what he’s lived.

This song hits me because I’ve had seasons where I felt like the pieces of my life were too scattered for God to put back together. But the truth is, He’s not intimidated by our mess. Psalm 147:3 says, “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” And Isaiah 61:3 speaks of the Lord giving “a crown of beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, and a garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness.” That’s not a partial fix—that’s complete restoration.

“Nothing Too Broken” pushes back against the idea that we have to earn our way back into God’s favor. It reminds us that grace is not about what we deserve—it’s about who He is. And who He is never changes.

If you’ve been holding back from God because you think you’re too far gone, it’s time to lay that down. Bring Him the pieces. All of them. Let Him prove, once again, that there is nothing—absolutely nothing—too broken for Him.
